I have assembled most of the video clips into a YouTube playlist. If you want to watch it all in one shot, click here. My reviews of the films can be seen here.

Trailer: 2016 (YouTube)

Announcement: Tim League introduces the festival. He then explains that, since Teen Wolf was the theme of this year’s BNAT, they really wanted to finally show the film. However, even though they had found a “pristine 35mm print”, due to scheduling restraints, they had to cut it into “literally thousands of pieces” so it could be shown in bits between other features. Thus, between many of the features and trailers, clips of Teen Wolf (most only a few frames long) would appear, and everyone would laugh. Weirdly, the joke never got old

Video Intro: Eric Vespe, who in theory could not be at BNAT because he was covering the Hobbit shoot in New Zealand, sent a video intro featuring Peter Jackson, Orlando Bloom, Ian McKellen and other cast and crew members of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. Then Ian McKellen (in full Gandalf gear) magically sent Eric Vespe to Austin (translation: Vespe appeared in the theater, amid pyrotechnics). Vespe then brandished a hard drive with the Hobbit’s first trailer (in 3D!), and then asked if a trusted “trailer bearer” could carry the drive to the projection booth. Elijah Wood rocketed out of his seat, grabbed the drive, and ran to the booth.

Trailer: the 3D Hobbit trailer wouldn’t play! Trusty Drafthouse crew began to diligently work behind the scenes to fix the corrupted hard drive.

Announcement: Harry introduces the first film, Hugo.
